Easy Skillet Lasagna

Not only does everything cook in just 30 minutes, but the pairing of Prego Original Pasta Sauce and Black Diamond Pizza & Pasta Mozzarella shredded cheese elevate this weeknight recipe to lasagna perfection.
Ingredients

Black Diamond® Pizza & Pasta Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
1 lb
Lean ground beef
1 jar (24 ounces)
Prego® Original Pasta Sauce
1½ cups
Water

Uncooked lasagna noodles, broken into 1-inch pieces
¾ cup
Reduced fat (part skim) ricotta cheese
¼ cup
Grated Parmesan cheese
Basil, for garnish
Preparation
- Season the beef with salt and pepper. Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
- Stir the pasta sauce, water and noodles in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring often.
- Stir in the ricotta cheese and half the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil just before serving, if desired.
Recipe Tips
For an extra cheesy version, add another cup of Black Diamond Pizza & Pasta Mozzarella shredded cheese in Step 3.
